10 outlaw immigrants arrested in two days operation

Phnom Penh- 10 outlaw immigrants were arrested in 2 days operation by the force of Investigation and Legislative implement Department under the General Department of Immigration and Emigration of Cambodia, the report said.

In the cooperation with the force of Commissariat of Phnom Penh Municipal Police also the compromise with Mr. Seang Sok, Deputy Prosecutor of Phnom Penh Municipal Court, on 13 July, 2016, our force were leaded to arrest 4 immigrants (1 British and 3 Vietnamese) after they came to live and work in Siem Reap,Major General, Uk Hayseila, Director of Investigation and Legislative Impleme Department told.

The Major General added that, on 14, July 2016, we also led the force to arrest another 6 immigrants (1 woman), at Prek Pra district, Phnom Penh. Furthermore, all of them have no passport and came across to live and work illegally in Cambodia.

Besides that, the location which those immigrants reside, is the outlaw building and the owner often smuggles many immigrants here for living and working. However, those immigrants will be questioning and make a legislative procedure to deport them from Cambodia.
