Phnom Penh- 5 outstanding students from Cambodia have challenged to get silver and bronze medals in Global Natural History Day competition at Shanghai, China, according to a statement posted on Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports official Facebook page.

A statement showed that, The Global Natural History Day started on 22th July and finished on 27th July 2016, as a result our 5 students got silver and bronze medals (4 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal) from this competition. Global Natural History Day was created in order to promote creative ideas, team-works, and skills in doing research of young students from many different countries.

In total, there are 220 teams of young students from many countries have come to challenge each other in the competition. All of their presentations are in English and really great, they have shown the skill of doing research, level of different culture’s awareness and also knowledge about natural science based on their given topic.

 This is another achievement which Cambodian students have made, especially in a global competition.
