7 Modern Vehicles, Subdued in just One Day
On 11th August 2016, the special forces of Customs leaded by Mr. Preab Karath, subdued 7 modern vehicles which all using fake plate and smuggling without tariff at different places in Phnom Penh, according to the report.
Mr. Preab Karath added that, those modern vehicles are 1. Mercedez S550 Black 012, BWM 07 White, Sienna Gray 012, Lexus 570 Black 012, Lexus 570 White, Cadillac SRX White 010, and Camry Black 012. All these cars are using fake plates.
We started this operation in order to increase taxation and to fear car dealers for stopping smuggling cars,which are tax evasion. However, we have noticed that cars which were subdued are importing recently.
