A Controversy of The Winner of The Voice Cambodia Season 1 Over Drug Scandal

Phnom Penh- Mr. Buth Seyha, the winner of The Voice Cambodia Season 1, had been arrested for doing illegal action involving in drug abuse. It is confirmed by the Lieutenant of Drug Police Commission, Mok Chito, on 21st February 2018.

The arrest was made in front of Pung Tek primary school, Pung Tek district, Dangkao commune, Phnom Penh. Buth Seyha had been immediately arrested at the scene during the heroine purchase and sent to the Ministry of Inferior for further interrogating, according to reports.

The interrogation has been conducted that he was engaged in heroine abuse. The authority has decided to contact his family to insure him to the Education Place and neutralize the heroine substances for the time being.

For this drug abuse case, the authority has been investigated for a very long time before implementing the action. The detail information has not been revealed and will be informed later.

This action has been brought a shame to art sector and affect the esteem of artists. He also triggers a disappointment for his fans.

Along with this scandal, Rasmey Hangmeas Production, the number one local music video karaoke production in Cambodia, has also announced to end the contract with the singer, according to report.
