AFC Penalizes FFC $5,000 For Poorly Organizing The Match
On 27th October, The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) published penalty over 40 cases concerning the abnormality of football matches in Asia, one of which was about triggering firecrackers at Olympic Stadium by Vietnamese supporters in the play-off round of 2019 AFC tournament, which took place on 5th September.
Football Federation of Cambodia (FFC) was also to blame for poorly organizing the match, which made Vietnamese Supporters could bring firecrackers into the stadium. According to the regulator and ethics commission of AFC, FFC was penalized USD 5,000 for this awful arrangement.

In the 1st leg, Cambodia was defeated by Vietnam in the playoff round of Group C in a result 1-2. Moreover, Cambodia did not manage to perform well during the 2nd leg and Vietnam humiliatingly destroyed Cambodia team in 5-0, which completely eliminates Cambodia from 2019 AFC Tournament.
