The pre-screening of "Independence Day: Resurgence" was recently held on 21 June at Legend Cinema Touk Kork. The event was attended not only by movie fans but also U.S Ambassador William (Bill) A. Heidt. However, there was yet another group of guests that truly made the event even more memorable. Aliens – or fans in alien masks, admittedly – were seen roaming the halls before the screening started. This marked the first and only time moviegoers get to take photos with aliens in the cinemas. After the screening, fans expressed their excitement, saying that the movie "will definitely leave your mouth gaping the whole time because of the storyline, the fighting scenes; it's sci-fi, adventure and action all in one!" As a special treat to fans, apart from the pre-screening, there was also a free screening of the original 1996 "Independence Day" held at Legend Cinema Citymall. "Independence Day: Resurgence" is the sequel set 20 years after the first movie. The 20th Century FOX production sees the return of Bill Pullman as President Whitmore, Jeff Goldblum as David Levinson, William Fichtner as General Adams, Brent Spiner as Dr. Brackish Okun, joined by new cast members Liam Hemsworth as Jake Morrison, Jessie T. Usher as Dylan Hiller and Angelababy as Rain Lao. "Independence Day: Resurgence" is now showing in cinemas.
