An old man arrested for burying wire in the ground to kill mice, but made a man electrocute to death

Phnom Penh- Police make an arrest to an old man for questioning after he bury the wire in the ground to kill mice in his own cropping field but made another man electrocute to death.

According to the report, the dead body of a man, who electrocuted to death, was seen in the middle of the cropping field at 6:00am, on 14, July, 2016 at Kdey Chas Village, Bak Kheng district, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Colonel EK Sereyvuth said , autopsy leads us to assume that this case is an act of murdering because the victim was electrocuted to death by the wire that the suspect bury in the ground around his own cropping field for killing mice.

The Colonel added that, the victim identified as Thorn Hokseng, 34, lived in Kdey Chas Village, Bak Kheng District, Phnom Penh. in other hand, the suspect who owns the cropping field, where the case took place, name Sim Vanna (called Touch), 52, is a farmer and lives in the same area.

Anyway, the authorities cooperate with the victim’s relative to organize the dead body following to the culture. For the suspect is being detained and waiting for questioning furthermore.
