Another Container Market Recently Opens in Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh─ Another container market has eventually come to town, and this time, it locates near the Phnom Penh City Center.

The container-style market has apparently become popular in Cambodia, due to its unique styles and designs, making it becomes more captivating than the usual markets. Phnom Penh has recently welcomed another brand new container-style market into town, and it is called Art’s Container Market.

Art’s Container Market is already in town

Locates on Street R1, Boeung Kak, next to Central Park Sports Complex, Art’s Container Market has officially opened last Saturday, with around 80 stalls offering a variety of foods and drinks as well as music for relaxing. Each and every stall is decorated with artistic paintings and sculptures, in which makes the new container market more appealing and aesthetic.

Jet’s Container Night Market, the first ever container-style night market that opens earlier this year in March, has been attracting tons of people, crowding the place every single night. As now another container market has emerged, people have another place where they could enjoy their evenings and relax.

However, unlike Jet’s Container Market, Art’s Container Market does not have a retail section; there are only food and drinks sections with spaces for artists to perform and as well, promote their songs.
