Boeung Ket Angkor FC Needs a Temporary Coach To Be Eligible For 2018 AFC Cup

Phnom Penh: After a sweet victory over National Defense Ministry football club in the penalty time of 10-9, Boeung Ket Angkor is qualified for AFC Cup 2018 which is the second cup in Asia.

Unfortunately, the champion of Cambodia League, Boeung Ket Angkor, is in search for temporary coach for the upcoming AFC Cup 2018 in return to play in the elimination round of group stage.

Asian Football Federation has declared a regulation to the participated teams in AFC Cup tournament that a A License coach or higher is needed to advance to group stage round. In the present time, Mr. Hav Sochea is only B License coach which is not eligible for it. There was the same happening to Phnom Penh Crown in 2017 where they registered Mr. Sem Somnang for the Head coach while leading the team by Mr. Oleg Starynskyi.

Boeung Ket Angkor will face Ceres-Negros, a 2017 Philippines Football League champion, on 13^th February in Philippines. In Group F, Boeung Ket Angkor will play against Ceres-Negros, a Philippines team, Home United, a Singaporean team, and Shan United, a Myanmar team in the group stage round.

2018 AFC Cup Group F

In a special evening on the 30^th of December 2017, at Olympic Stadium, the final match of Metfone Cambodian League has taken place where Boeung Ket Angkor faced Ministry of National Defense with the crowd of cheering spectators. During the match, Ministry of National Defense entirely dominated the ball possession and incredibly showed many beautiful performances. Unfortunately, there were a few shots hitting the post which is very unlucky for them.
