Cambodia Athlete Finishes 4th in Swimming at Olympic Games 2016
H.E Vath Chomrouen, Secretary General of National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) told reporters from Brazil on 13th August 2016 that, Cambodian’s athlete, Hem Thonvitiny, has just broken her old record which was in number 4 in Olympic Games Rio 2016, Brazil.
Hem Thonvitiny, an athlete in swimming of Cambodia, finished in 29.37 seconds in 50 meters free style swimming, while her own record at Olympic Games 2012, London, was 30.44 seconds. Finishing in the 4th rank, it means that Vithiny can’t go through to the next round in this competition anymore. As well as her partner, Pu Sovichea, which failed in the first round of 100 meters free style swimming.

The athlete in swimming of Cambodia in Olympic Games 2016 all finished, but Cambodia still has Wrestling, Running, and Taekwondo which haven’t scheduled to compete yet.
