Cambodia Detected The First Zika Case in Kompong Cham Recently
Ministry of Health of Cambodia announced on 18th November 2016, that it has just detected a new Zika patient in Kompong Cham province, Cambodia.
According to report, this is the first case in Cambodia in 2016 and it was developed to a local man, 44. However, the patient regained good health since he came to the hospital and received treatment on 14th October 2016.
The announcement is made in order to give cautionary to Cambodian people. However, Cambodian authorities are also preparing methods to prevent and fight against Zika virus before it is becoming outbreaks.

This is the first case of Zika virus for Cambodia in 2016, which increasing the total to 8 with the first 7 cases were detected in 2007 and 2010.
