Cambodia Grants 3-year Multiple-entry Visas to Chinese and S. Korean Investors
Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen decided on Thursday to grant 3-year multiple-entry visas to Chinese and South Korean investors in a bid to attract more investments from the two countries.
“Today, I decided to provide 3-year multiple entry visas to investors from China and South Korea,” he said at the opening ceremony of a Cambodia-China business forum.
He said from now on, Chinese and South Korean investors just apply for a visa that will be valid for three years and they can enter and exit Cambodia many times.
PHNOM PENH— Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen decided on Thursday to grant 3-year multiple-entry visas to Chinese and South Korean investors in a bid to attract more investments from the two countries.
"Today, I decided to provide 3-year multiple entry visas to investors from China and South Korea," he said at the opening ceremony of a Cambodia-China business forum.
He said from now on, Chinese and South Korean investors just apply for a visa that will be valid for three years and they can enter and exit Cambodia many times.
China and South Korea are the first and second largest investors in Cambodia.
According to the Council for the Development of Cambodia, accumulative Chinese investment in Cambodia has reached over 14 billion U.S. dollars from 1994 to October 2016, while South Korean investment is around 4.5 billion U.S. dollars.
