“Cambodian Idol Season 3” Live Show Week 4- What Happened?

PHNOM PENH- On the March third episode of “Cambodian Idol Season 3”, 9 contestants—6 females and 3 males—in total battled was out in a mission under “Pleng Ka” Theme.

During the live show, all contestants were assigned to deliver a performance under “Phleng Ka” or “Khmer Traditional” genre, which is supposed to be one of the most difficult themes so far. This genre requires contestant to be very tactical and to use high note of vocal. Emotion is another important element that contestant needs to fulfill.

Most of the 9 remaining contestants delivered impressive performances. However, some of them did not deliver their best, according to what the judges commented.

Turns out, voting the most important in the battle again. The less voted contestant will be eliminated. This week, the less voted contestant was revealed to be a female contestant, “Da Sokmavatey”. However, she was offered a chance to perform again in order to stand a chance to get saved by the judges. Unfortunately, she was not saved and she became the eliminated contestant of Live Show Week 4.
