Cambodian Students Won Gold Medal at SIMOC 2017
Countries praised Cambodian students after winning 33 medals including one gold medal at SIMOC 2017 in Singapore.
102 of the best math Cambodian students were sent to compete at SIMOC 2017, which was held at Singapore. They scored very notable results as they won 33 medals and one of which is gold medal. This is such a great achievement, isn’t it?
Mr. Seng Rathana, a representative for Cambodia Science Fair organization, stated that, “our contestants are improving year by year. I hope there will be more good results next year.”

Mr. Rathana also mentioned that next year Cambodia will send more than 100 contestants to compete in SIMOC with other countries in Asia.
This is the third time that Cambodia competes at SIMOC. The first one was in 2015 which Cambodia brought 2 medals home, the second was in 2016 with 40 medals, and this year we brought 33 medals and one gold medal, according to local report.
