Hong Inh is a 103-Year-Old woman, who has been staying in the United States of America for six years. She survived civil war in the 1970s and emigrated to the U.S from Cambodia with a dream of becoming a citizen in the United States of America.
The root cause of emigrating to the U.S is the living condition in Cambodia, according to reports.
“After the war, life wasn’t easy so that she didn’t want to live there and hoped that she could come to the U.S,” her grandson said.
After six years of staying in the U.S, she has now earned the U.S citizenship and everyone is happy for that. She is the oldest among 10,000 people who took the oath of citizenship at the L.A Convention Center, Los Angeles.
“She says Untied States is very good. That’s a dream to have a peaceful country to stay,” a translator said.
Congratulations to her and her family!
