Cambodians Might Soon Be Charged for Plastic Bag Use
It seems like there will be no free use of plastic bags in Cambodia. Government has come up with the measures to manage plastic bag.

No official details regarding the pricing of the plastic bag use has been made. However, the pricing will be determined after the meeting between the supermarket owners and Inter-ministerial official, according to local reports.

There is a huge expansion in the use of plastic bags, which is one of the main forms of environmental degradation in Cambodia. According to the European Union (EU) and ACRA Foundation, about 10 million plastic bags are used daily in Phnom Penh.
