Cambodia’s Attempt on World’s Largest Hanuman During Angkor Sankranta
Phnom Penh- Hanuman, Cambodia will set to make an attempt on making a Guinness World Record on the largest Hanuman by Angkor Sankranta. The statement on this attempt was made at a press conference on the preparation for Angkor Sankranta 2018.
Angkor Sangkranta, an annual event celebrated on Khmer New Year at Siem Reap, has been organized for 6 times and has set new world records on producing the largest sticky rice cake weighing in 3.2 tons as well as organizing the world’s largest Madison dance with 2015 people in 2015.

However, according to Sok Sabayna, chief executive officer of Angkor Sangkranta, said that the team is yet to confirm whether their attempts will make the Guiness World Record due to the cost and time it requires.
