“Chasing the Dragon”, Drug Trafficking Movie Coming to the Cinemas

“Chasing the Dragon” will make its way to the cinema on this 19th October. Directed by Jason Kwan and Wong Jing, clearly indicates about drug trafficking and corruption in Hong Kong during Britain’s Colony.

The movie is based on the real life of gangster and drug lord, Ng Shek-ho, which is starred by Donnie Yen. It has been remade from 1991 film called, “To be Number One”.

“Chasing the Dragon” depicts a period in Hong Kong during Britain’s Colony and a chaotic time, where prostitution and drug trafficking are permitted. Andy Lau, the Chief Detective and Donnie Yen, the Drug Lord, vows to be brother after a tragedy. Since then, their business starts to flourish greatly after one another. Additionally, it shows a strong bond between Andy Lau and Donnie Yen.
