The First Ever Container-Style Night Market Is Already in Cambodia

Phnom Penh─ Night markets, selling variety of things such as clothes, accessories, snacks and beverages, are very common in Cambodia. However, there’s a new version of night market which has just emerged in Phnom Penh recently, the Jet’s Container Night Market.

Being different from other typical night markets in town, Jet’s Container Night Market has taken the concept of a simple night market to a whole new level. Instead of having the usual small stalls or booths, this new night market builds the shops, restaurants, and pubs inside and on top of container boxes. Pretty interesting, isn’t it?

Jet’s Container Night Market features many stores, ranging from clothes shops to little foods and drinks booths, with a combination of lively music by several music stages, which help to serenade and entertain the people coming to chill at the night market.

With a total of 224 stalls and open from 4pm-11pm every day, the Jet’s Container Night Market locates on the National Assembly Street, on the North side of the Russian Embassy, next to Jet Plus restaurant.

The idea of converting a normal night market into a container-style market is very impressive and it seems to attract a lot of attention from the citizens as well, due to its unique and creative styles.
