First Footbridge in Cambodia Coming Soon
It seems that Cambodian citizens will soon be able to use an alternative way in crossing the road.
A footbridge has finally start constructing for the first time ever in Phnom Penh, according to the Facebook posted by the Ministry of Public Works and Transport on the 25th of January 2017.
The footbridge locates along the National Road 4, in front of Hun Sen Chumpuvorn High School and Chumpuvorn Primary School. Based on the photos attached in the Ministry’s post, it can be seen that the footbridge is almost halfway done and thus, Cambodian citizens and especially students in that area, will be able to use it in the near future.

The post have received many positive responses from the netizens regarding the new emergence of the footbridge, as they have always wanted to have this kind of infrastructure development in the society.
Although some netizens have expressed that the footbridge looks a bit small, most of the netizens have shown great support and some even request the Ministry to build more footbridges in the country so that people can feel safer and avoid dangers while crossing the roads.
