“First They Killed My Father” Screening For Public at RUPP Next Week
The famous film, “First they kill my father” is set to screen for free this November, which is organized by ECCC in collaboration with Royal University of Phnom Penh and BOPHANA center.
The screening will be held on November 27th at 6 p.m. at Royal University of Phnom Penh.
“First they kill my father” is Netflix film, which is directed by Angelina Jolie. The movie tells about the moving story of a small girl and her triumphant spirit as she survived the Cambodian genocide under Khmer Rouge brutal regime.
The registration is now opened at Building C of Royal University of Phnom Penh. The screening is free and everyone is invited!

The movie, which was a recounted of Mrs, Loung Ung who was a 5 years old girl back then described about how struggle she faced, how heartache she is to lost both of her parent during a black period known as Khmer Rouge regime in 1975.
This historical movie of Cambodia genocide was such the saddest movie due to the reflection of the loss of the member of the family, friends especially your beloved one and it’s worth to watch and to tear down while watching this amazing movie.
