“First They Killed My Father” To Be Named for Oscar Nomination

Phnom Penh- “First They Killed My Father” is based on a true story of a girl, Loung Ung, who went through the deadly Khmer Rouge regime and how her family had struggled to survive. Directed by Angelina Jolie and Rithy Panh, made this movie successfully and received massive support in the United States of America.

Importantly, the film is among the 92 films on the Academy’s initial lists. “First They Killed My Father” has been nominated for Oscar Award on 18^th September during Academy Award.
