Global Game Jam 2018- Creating Games in 48 hours

Phnom Penh- Global Game Jam 2018, the first and biggest international game making event, will happen soon in Phnom Penh, from 26^th to 28^th January.

Hosted by IT Academy Step Cambodia, the event is created as a workshop where gamers and technology enthusiasts gather around in teams to brainstorm and generate new ideas for as many games as possible within 48 hours.

The event is set to take place at Trybe Workspace, 21 Keo Chea St. 184, Phnom Penh, from Friday at 2pm to Sunday 6pm. Anyone is older than 18 is welcomed to join and participate to which the event requires skills from programmers to game designers, artists and musicians; however, for those with background in game designing are also welcomed to join and learn the ways and techniques by just bringing along with them their computer.

For those who are underaged and wish to join, the event organizers should be informed and will do their best to allow entry.

The available parking position as informed by the organizers on their website have said it is best to place vehicles outside and all participants need to join is by bringing their own computer and having required software.
