In this late-January, three cities of Cambodia – Battambang, Kep and Siem Reap – received the ASEAN Clean Tourist City Award at the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2018, which was held in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the Prime Minister of Cambodia, said the government and all Cambodian citizens must commit to participate with the whole world in order to achieve the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, according to local reports.
“I want to appeal to all stakeholders, especially ministries, institutes, all levels of authorities, armed forces, the private sector, civil society, development partners and the public to continue to support and compete for clean cities in order to attract more national and international tourists”.
Respect yourself. Respect others. Respect your environment. Keep our cities clean.
