Head Coach, Leonardo Vitorino Announced Departure From Cambodia National Team
On October 19th, Leonardo Vitorino has released a statement on his official Facebook page that he will no longer be the Head Coach of Cambodia National Football Team.
“I’m not more Cambodia National Team Head Coach”, said Leonardo, “I would like to say thank you so much to all people that I have the opportunity to work here.” Leonardo has also apologized for not being able to change things and has thanked Cambodia Football Federation for the opportunity to lead the nation team.

Leonardo Vitorino was named as the Head Coach of Cambodia National Team in March, replacing South Korean tactician Lee Tae-Hoon. He was previously the coach of Laos’s Lanexang United and also worked as a technical director at Thailand’s Buriram United.
Upon seeing his announcement, Cambodian netizens have left many comments on his post to show their appreciations towards Leonardo for his efforts in coaching and leading the team.
