IAmOriginal Launched Album “Stronger Together” With 10 Music Videos

Phnom Penh- On the 30^th of December, IAmOriginal launched a Gala premier for their first album called “Stronger Together”. It featured the launching of 10 music videos belonging to 13 original artists such as Nikki Nikki, Sai, Chesda Vann, Ma Chanpanha, Adda, Sievphin Chong, Sophia Kao, Syra Run and Smallworld Smallband.

IAmOriginal is a non-profit music foundation aimed to promote original musics in Cambodia by providing training, legal consultation, financial and marketing support, to artists who are passionate in music.

The event took place at HardRock Café, Exchange Square, from 6pm to 11pm. The press conference and the red carpet walk of guest appearances and artists took place at the main entrance of the mall. Fans and audiences were cheerful to the sight of their idols and celebrities.

During the press conference, Hang Sokharo, the project manager, said, “these original songs are based on our heart and will. We are not paid to create these songs and the same goes to the directors of the music videos”.

Following the red-carpet walk came the social gathering of guests at HardRock Café, where guests were served with free-flowing beer and finger food and the premier of 10 new music videos with an EDM party to end the event.

IAmOriginal along with the 13 artists and directors have succeeded in showcasing educational and meaningful songs about Cambodia’s social visions and the encouragement for teenagers to explore themselves as well as releasing original well-thought-out contents. Hang Sokharo added, “this Gala premier is an end to our Season 1 program through this album called “Stronger Together” and the Season 2 in 2018 shall be new for fans who appreciate original content”.
