JaiKonTV Officially Launched The First Legal Streaming App in Cambodia
In the midst of the rise of movie industry in Cambodia, JaiKonTV in collaboration with MyBurgerLab, Legend Cinemas, AKASA Studio, Krispey Kremie, BradTalk and T-Shop, held an event for officially launching an app called, “JaiKonTV”, at Xignature Club, Phnom Penh, on the 15th of July 2017.
“JaiKonTV” app is the first legal streaming platform in Cambodia that allows people access to many shows anytime, anywhere with many different content types including Khmer movies, series, cooking shows, beauty, web-series, adventure, and many more.
According to Mr. Felix, the representative of JaiKonTV team, “We create the app with the aim to support and encourage Cambodian people, especially teenagers to be creative and proud of their achievements, which related to entertainment. Moreover, we want to prevent the violation of movies’ copyrights”.

He added, “JaiKonTV is an app, which makes Cambodian people easier to find new videos, especially the local and orginal ones. We also plan to expand the app to the neighbor countries, in order to share our new achievements of new creators in Cambodia to the international stages”.
The event also announced the cooperation between JaiKonTV with Smart Axiata and PNN TV, which is happening soon.
