Keo Sokpheng, the 2nd Cambodian Player To Play in Malaysia Super League

Phnom Penh- One of the top Cambodian football players, Keo Sokpheng, was recently reported to have signed a 1-year deal with a Malaysian football club, Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak Football Club, aka, PKNP FC.

There have been some rumors circulated around regarding the striker’s possibility of joining a club in the Top ASEAN leagues, as several clubs from Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia have seem to shown great interests in signing him for the next season’s league.

However, the official report has now been released and this 25-year-old footballer will be playing for the PKNP FC, one of the Malaysian football clubs that has just got promoted to play in the first-tier Malaysian football, the Malaysia Super League (Ligar Super Malaysia).

Keo Sokpheng has been known as the ace of the Phnom Penh Crown FC and he is also playing for the Cambodian National Football Team as well. Upon this signing, he becomes the second Cambodian football player to play in the Malaysia Super League, after Theirry ChanthaBin, who has just singed a 1-year deal with Terengganu FC recently.

According to reports, PKNP FC offers Sokpheng a house and a car to put pen to paper on a 1-year deal that will also see him earn a big amount of money. The Cambodian striker is expected to depart for joining his new club in January 2018.

He will wear number 10 at PKNP FC
