Keisuke Honda, born on 13 June 1986 is a Japanese professional footballer who plays for Australian club Melbourne Victory and the Japan nation team. He has earned over 90 international caps since 2008, playing at the 2010, 2014, and 2018 FIFA World Cup, and winning the 2011 AFC Asian Cup, where he was also voted Player of the Tournament. Honda is the first Japanese player to score in three FIFA World Cups 2010, 2014, and 2018.
