Phnom Penh – Ministry of Finance and Economy announces to auction off 9,000 cubic meters of illegally logged timbers seized by authorities recently.
According to the official announcement that Fresh News received from the Ministry of Finance and Economy on July 7th, 2016, said these 9,000 cubic meters of logged timbers came from Ratanakkiri, Stung Treng, Kratie and Tbong Khmum. The combined total number of these logged timber is around 8,910.553 cubic meters with the initial price at 6,658,219,620 Riels, equal to USD 1,665,554.905.
Refer to their statement, the auction off will begin from July 6th – 14th. Bid Forms will be available at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry Administration, respectively.
The auction will begin at each provincial offices from July 26th – 28th at 9AM.
