Netizens Suspect That Platinum is Changed to Major Cineplex
 Netizens suspected that Platinum Cineplex is being changed to Major Cineplex, and it is expanding to two new different locations soon.
On 9th October, fans were curious when Major Cineplex’s Facebook page suddenly updated its new profile picture and surprisingly removed “by Cellcard” logo and replaced it with “by Smart”.
Shocking fans with this sudden change, the official Facebook page “Platinum Cineplex Cambodia”, locates in Soyra Center Point, was changed its name to “Major Cineplex Soyra”, and that’s make netizens suspected that Platinum is being changed to Major Cineplex.
PHNOM PENH- Netizens suspected that Platinum Cineplex is being changed to Major Cineplex, and it is expanding to two new different locations soon.

No official response from insider to this controversial yet. However, netizens assumed that Platinum Cineplex is in the process of changing to Major Cineplex.
Few hours later, The new Facebook page of Major Cineplex, originally was Platinum Cineplex, updated that Major Cineplex is opening soon in Sorya Cineplex.
In addition to this, The Platinum Cineplex in Siem Reap province is closed for a temporary renovation and improvisation but there is no response whether it will be changed to Major Cineplex or not.
If this is true, Major Cineplex is surely expanding to two new branches, while Platinum Cineplex might shut down.
