New Sky Bridge And Underground Path Soon To Be Constructed

Phnom Penh- The sixth Sky Bridge and underground path construction at the Chaom Chao roundabout will be soon launched, according to the spokesman of Phnom Penh Municipality.

This to-be construction is situated in Chaom Chao District, Por Sen Chey Commune. In accordance with the spokesman, the construction will evacuate traffic congestion that usually occurs during the rush hour and facilitate travelers from going in and out the capital.

The spokesman also added the technical team has finalized the latest plan among 7 plans during the conference on 14th February that is participated by Mr. Khoung Sreng, The Governor of Phnom Penh.

The budget and duration of the project is undisclosed until the construction begins.

Currently, there are 5 major Sky Bridges in Phnom Penh such as Kbal Tnal Sky Bridge, Steung Meanchey Sky Bridge, 7 Makara Sky Bridge, Techno Sky Bridge, and Psar Dey Huy Sky Bridge, that is likely to be completed before Khmer New Year.
