PHNOM PENH- A new Thai drama sparks arguments for using Angkor Wat of Cambodian as a background photo.

Recently, the teaser photos of a new Thai drama grab attention of Cambodian netizens and celebrities. The photo has been shared and talked over social media network, especially on Facebook.

The photos show characters from the series dressed in ancient Thai’s traditional outfits but what matters and catches people eyes is Angkor Wat of Cambodia is featured in the poster as a background.

Many criticisms from Netizens as well as Cambodian celebrities has been thrown. Some people expressed their ire and criticized the drama poster for using Angkor Wat as the background, which would possibly confuse people all around the world that Angkor Wat belongs to Thailand. In addition to this, netizens, especially celebrities also criticized and demanded the Ministry of Culture and Fine Art to take a certain action regarding this issue immediately.

However, responding to the criticisms, the Ministry of Culture and Fine Art has claimed on 3^rd of May that certain action will be taken very soon when they receive specific details from investigation, according to local reports.
