Phnom Penh- Since 2016, “Animal Rescue Cambodia” was established by passionate animal lovers, which is located in Phnom Penh. It is a non-profit organization, mostly run by foreign and Cambodian volunteers whose mission is to improve Animal Welfare in Cambodia and end suffering for Cambodian street cats and dogs.

Their main goals are to solve the ongoing overpopulation problem through neutering programs, providing medical care for street/pagoda cats and dogs, and educate the local community on animal welfare. Moreover, they work closely with pagodas through their Pagoda Ambassador Program (PAP), to assure that animals in their care receive urgently needed medical attention and are being neutered.

Recently, they have come up with the newly designed animal wall calendar that is very suitable for animal lovers out there. With a price of $10, customers will contribute into the organization in which they will feed 12 rescued cats and dogs at the recovery center. Furthermore, the organization also sells cute bookmarks and photos of lovely animals for a fair amount of price for which the money will, too, feed the sheltered animals.
