Platinum Cineplex Sorya Is Temporarily Closed For Renovation
Platinum Cineplex, one of the premiere digital cinemas in Phnom Penh, has been closed for a temporary.
Platinum Cineplex has two branches in Cambodia, with one in Phnom Penh and another one in Siem Reap.
According to a post on Platinum Cineplex’s official Facebook page, Platinum Cineplex which locates on the 5th floors of Sorya Shopping Center, has been closed for about six months for redecoration and improvisation.

Ms. Radin, Marketing Manager of Platinum Cineplex (Sorya Shopping Center), told us that, “The closure began in April and it will be reopened at the year end. Separately, Platinum Cineplex at Siem Reap is in daily operation as normal”.
She added, “After the renovation, Platinum Cineplex Sorya will come with 5 halls, means that 2 more halls are added during the renovation. Besides that, many new modern equipment with latest technology for cinema are also added”.
Currently, Platinum Cineplex Sorya is closed, but it will come back in the year end with many more special promotion. Stay tuned for more updates.
