Phnom Penh – Samdech Hun Sen, Cambodian Prime Minister, expressed his pleasure on the recent built Riverside walkway, measuring at about 950 meters long, with a width that ranges from 6 to 15 meters, links from Tourist Information Centre, in front of the Royal Palace, to the twin bridges that link to Diamond Island.
Samdech Hun Sen also continued, this Riverside walkway will be a big help to reduce the traffic jam along Sisowath Quay, as well, very beneficial to both local people and tourists to take a stroll, and act as a public exercising place along the Riverside to Diamond Island.
According to his official Facebook page published on this Saturday, “Phnom Penh is on the way to another new phase, the recent built Riverside walkway is helping to reduce the traffic jam along Sisowath Quay, especially; during any national holidays which most of the people will be around the Royal Palace area. This new walkway measures to be about 950 meters long, with a width that ranges from 6-15 meters, connected from Tourist Information Center, located in front of the Royal Palace until Diamond Island’s twin bridges. It will be very beneficial to both local people and tourists to take a stroll, and act as a public exercising place along the Riverside to Diamond Island. This has shown as another achievement coming from the smart leadership of Samdech Hun Sen, current Cambodian Prime Minister.”
