“Prime Cineplex” Launches Soft Opening on 8th and 9th With Great Promotion

Phnom Penh- “Prime Cineplex”, a new brand digital cinema from South Korea, will launch soft opening with the great promotion on the 8^th and 9^th of March.

Mr. Joon-ho Lee, President of Prime Cineplex, told that “Of course, I like Cambodia very much. I remembered that, I first came here in the name of a company, which supplies for cinema equipment and service, and I can see the potential of movie sector and the love of Cambodian people toward it, that’s why I decided to open cinemas here”.

“As we can see, some local movies are hardly to afford to make more showtime in cinemas, because the cinemas don’t have enough screening and they need to spare showtime for other movies. So, opening “Prime Cineplex” means adding more halls for screening into Cambodia, so we can help promote the movie industry, especially for local movies”.

Prime Cineplex will expand its branch by opening 1 more cinema at Borey Vimean Phnom Penh in June 2017.

The new digital cinema will bring a new environment, feeling, and technology to Cambodian people. Moreover, some common problems, which people encounter during watching in the cinema such as bad volume, bad seats, or screen size, will be completely wiped out, according to Mrs. Roatana Ek, the Marketing Manager of Prime Cineplex.

Mrs. Roatana also said, “Our first priority is quality. We need to make sure that our visitors will have a comfortable and warm feeling, when they are watching movie in our cinema. Besides this, we also bring the popcorn with a good and unique taste from South Korea, so we believe that we can fully satisfy our visitors even we are the new one in Cambodia”.

Soft Opening Promotion

The event will be held at “Prime Cineplex”, which locates at the 4^th and 5^th floor of Sovanna Shopping Center, Phnom Penh. During the soft opening, 1 person can get 1 free ticket for entering the extensive hall and enjoy the movie, which they would love to watch.

After the soft opening, Prime Cineplex will open daily from 9am to 12am. Tickets will be on sale with different prices below:

2D Movies:

– Adult 3 USD (Monday to Thursday), 4 USD (Friday to Sunday)

– Children 2 USD (Monday to Thursday), 3 USD (Friday to Sunday)

3D Movies:

– Adult 4 USD (Monday to Thursday), 5 USD (Friday to Sunday).

– Children 3 USD (Monday to Thursday), 3 USD (Friday to Sunday).

ATMOS:

– Adult 4 USD (Monday to Thursday), 5 USD (Friday to Sunday)

– Children 3 USD (Monday to Thursday), 4 USD (Friday to Sunday)

VIP Hall:
