Psar Dey Huy Sky Bridge Not Ready For The Upcoming Khmer New Year
In order to facilitate the traffic congestion in Phnom Penh, the government has officially announced the operation of the Psar Dey Huy Sky Bridge during this Khmer New Year. Unfortunately, this sky bridge could not operate punctually due to the lack of construction material and problems related to the national electrical grid according to the spokesman of Ministry of Public and Transports.
Phnom Penh- In order to facilitate the traffic congestion in Phnom Penh, the government has officially announced the operation of the Psar Dey Huy Sky Bridge during this Khmer New Year.
Unfortunately, the Sky bridge could not operate punctually due to the lack of construction material and problems related to the national electrical grid, according to the Spokesman of Ministry of Public and Transports.
It is obviously reported that 90% of the bridge has been finished and needed to link each column to one another. However, due to aforementioned problem, it will not likely be ready for operation in Khmer New Year.
It was constructed in August 2016 and it is a project that is developed by Republic of China and revised by Ministry of Public and Transport. Psa Dey Huy Sky Bridge, is an overpass at the intersection between Dey Huy Market, Russain Boulevard and Hanoi Street whose length is approximately 605 meters in length and 17 meters in width.
