Slang Word “Bro and Sis” Became Viral Among Cambodian Netizens

Phnom Penh- The words “SIS’’ and ‘’BRO’’ have just became a new trend among Cambodian netizens on social media, especially on Facebook.

Recently, the word “Sis” stands for Sister and “Bro” stands for brother are being used by Cambodian Netizens as slang. The meaning behind these words are different from it actually meaning after a post on Facebook page went viral.

The Bro and Sis has become “Friend with Benefits”, friends without true friendship involved but the benefit related to love relationship and can include sex activity.

The trending came after the one’s Facebook account posted by uploading two photos of the chat box between two people who called each other “Bro” and “Sis”, but what surprised the netizens the most was that the girl sent the boy a text that she has been pregnant with a pregnancy test kit picture even they were not in a relationship.

Despite being just a brother and sister, this post draws lots of Netizens’s attention. Few Hour later, the word ‘’Sis’’ and ‘’Bro” became viral. It was used by netizens who refers this words to ‘’Friend with Benefits”.
