Starbucks Cambodia Marks Down Its 10th Store in Cambodia Today

PHNOM PENH- Starbucks Cambodia’ s latest store as well as its 10^th Store at Eden Garden, Phnom Penh, starts brewing today. It also held a panel discussion under the topic “Opportunity with Starbucks: Connect with something bigger” one day a head its grand opening.

The new store locates at Eden Garden Cambodia, offers customer a convenience parking lot and an inviting destination to relax. Customer can enjoy a wide range of Starbucks food and beverages, which made with 3 percent top Arabica coffee.

One day a head of its grand opening, Starbucks Cambodia held a successful panel discussion with the presence of journalists from different news outlets at Starbucks Eden Garden, the latest branch of Starbucks in Cambodia.

The panel discussion was led by four special guest. Mr. Por Lim, the General Manager of Starbucks in Cambodia sat down with 3 others partners. Mr. Heng, Mrs. Vanaroth, and Mrs. Vimean, the coffee Masters of Starbucks in Cambodia, and discussed about the opportunity that Starbucks Cambodia has given to its partners.

The panel discussion kicked off with a coffee testing, the culture of Starbucks. Participants were guided to follow the 4 steps of Coffee testing. It was so much of learning and enjoyable time. After the coffee testing ended, the actual panel discussion started immediately. During the discussion, Mr. Por Lim stated about why youth are offered the opportunity to growth with Starbucks Cambodia.

“We offer the opportunity for youth, especially university student, because we see the ability of them in speaking English, they have talent, they know how to communicate, and they can delivery Starbucks experience to customer,” said Por Lim, the General Manager of Starbucks Cambodia

In addition to this, the 3 coffee masters in the event have shared their heartfelt messages of their experiences with Starbucks and they explained how Starbucks has given them a lifetime opportunities.

As they mentioned, two of them were sent to abroad such as Hong Kong and Vietnam, to learn more about Starbucks, while others were offered a chance to learn about both soft and hard skill. To pay off their hard work, some of them got promoted when they delivered a good performance.

“Working with Starbucks Cambodia is a great opportunity for me. I feel like home and Starbucks Cambodia is like my second family,” said Vimean, the coffee master of Starbucks Cambodia.

There are so much that we do not know about Starbucks. The 4 special guests also revealed the secret of why do Starbucks address their own employees as “Partners”. Instead of addressing one another as “Employee or Staff” people, who works for Starbucks, address one another as Partner. By doing so, they believe this is one of the key factors that push every partner of Starbucks to work from their hearts and start from day one till today.

After the panel discussion was finished, participants were handed an adorable Brista beer of Starbucks Cambodia.

This 10 March 2018 marks down Starbucks Eden Garden store opening as well as its 10^th store in Cambodia. Importantly, the first 100 customers to check out this latest store will be granted an adorable Barista Bear.
