The Story Surrounding the Shutdown Public ATM Machines Come to An End

PHNOM PENH- The story regarding to the shutting down of Public ATM Machine has come to the conclusion.

During the past time, many public ATM machines were exploded. However, recently, the public ATM machine of ANZ Bank was exploded, and it plays a major role in triggering the insecure of public safety which resulted in shutting down of Public ATM Machines.

Mr. Pa Socheatvong, Phnom Penh Governor, reveals that he holds a meeting to discuss about this matter with the officials under the Armed Forces, relevant authorities, and the judiciary. The exploding ATM Machine that happened a while ago plays a huge part in shutting down public ATM machine. Therefore, the meeting resulted in the agreement to prevent more of this tragedies to happen in the future.

After the news was published by many Khmer News Outlet, it received tons of bad feedback and people are not happy about how the governor deal with the problem and put the government at fault for this shut down. Moreover, Netizens show their dissatisfied feeling toward this new decision because it is inconvenient not to have the ATM machine in the public.

However, according to local reports, there is no plan to shut down the public ATM machines. There is a huge misunderstanding with the previous news article which angered the netizens because there is no plan to shut down, but to make sure that the bank as well as micro finance will provide the safety and high security to protect the surrounding area of the machines.
