{Video} The First Oil Drilling Field Appears in Cambodia in The Near Future
KrisEnergy Ltd is pleased to announce its final investment decision in oil industry in Cambodia by developing an offshore oil field in the Gulf of Thailand, in collaboration with the government of Cambodia.
The offshore oil field, “Apsara”, is divided into many phases and expected to be ready in 24 months. It is covered an area of 3,083 square kilometers and depth of 50-80 meters. In accordance with the firm, it is estimated the oil extraction is approximately 30, 000 barrels a day.

Kelvin Tang, KrisEnergy’s Chief Operating Officer, said that, “We will deliver the first oil in 24 months, actually it will be during 2019.”
Cambodia will receive approximately USD 500 million in fees, taxes and royalties over the project’s lifespan.
