Thierry Chantra Bin Signed 1-year Deal With Terengganu FC in Malaysia Super League

On December 5th, 2017, Thierry Chantra Bin, a Cambodian-French player, has just signed a one-year contract with the newly promoted Super League club, Terengganu FC, Malaysia.

He has become the first Cambodian player to have played in the top Malaysian League and he hoped to create a glorious experience with the club and develop his skills in the new environment.

“I praised myself for having a special opportunity to play for Terengganu FC in Malaysia Super League in next season. I want to play in Malaysia, and I have a lot of success stories that make me feel happy and proud to play for them”, he said.

Phnom Penh- On December 5th, 2017, Thierry Chantra Bin, a Cambodian-French player, has just signed a one-year contract with the newly promoted Super League club, Terengganu FC, Malaysia.

According to the experience of this Cambodia national football player, it is stated that Chantra Bin used to play for Phnom Penh Crown, Cambodia’s Electricite du Cambodge, and also a member of the Cambodian national team before signing the contract for this top Malaysian League.

“I will try my best to help them stay in Malaysia next season. The top league is so competitive that I need to challenge and it is also a good chance for me to enlarge my football experience. I hope to stay here as long as possible if I play well. I am not sure if I can play as the first 11 players for the team, but I am going to do my best”, Chantra Bin added.

In his experience of play in foreign countries, the Cambodian midfielder also played for Krabi FC in the second league of Thailand, midway through the season in 2017 and he was also a former member of France’s U-17 football team in 2007 and now he has the opportunity to play in Terengganu FC.

It is noticeable that Terengganu FC is a football club, which has just been promoted to the Malaysian Super League this season, as they had held the second place in the Malaysian Premier League last season.
