On the other hand, if they are in fact hiding mermaids/aliens from us it’s because they either A) know that we will freak out and get overexcited and it’s all we will talk about and think about, creating chaos in everyday life and disrupting order and conduct- it would be too much of a distraction; or B) they are somehow gaining some type of strength/advancement/opportunity from these other life forms and are exploiting them to get it, which would cause uproar and riots. Overall, I feel the government is no longer of the people, by the people or for the people- they are the opposite. Hey, maybe they ARE the aliens in disguise…..
