Two Pakistanis Arrested for Suspicion of Human Trafficking
Anti-human trafficking and juvenile protection police, under the command of Brig. Gen. Prum Santhor, head of the unit and deputy commissioner of municipal police, apprehended two Pakistanis when they were attempting to export four victims out of Cambodia on August 21, 2016 in the vicinity of the Night Market, close to Wat Phnom, Phnom Penh.
Gen. Pprum Santhor said the operation was undertaken at the instruction of Senior General Chuon Sovann, national police deputy commissioner and Phnom Penh Municipality police commissioner, and with coordination of the municipal court deputy prosecutor Sieng Sok.

The two Pakistanis were identified by the police as NIAZ AHMED, 55, and YAZEF AHMED, 24.
After the arrests, police have conducted further investigation until yesterday, August 22, 2016 and with cooperation from the local police of Tbong Khmum province, one more suspect, a woman, identified as Bin Nhor, 72, was arrested in Tbong Khmum.
Police is currently interrogating the suspects and preparing documentation to be submitted to the municipal court. As for the four victims, of whom one is a man, they were all sent back home after receiving some instructions and advice.
