U-19 Cambodia’s On Line After Shocking Myanmar Win

Phnom Penh- On October 24^th, at Olympic Stadium, the U-19 Cambodia national football team welcomed the U19 of the Republic of China, in AFC U19 Championship 2018 Qualify round. According to the result, U19 team of the Republic of China won the match with the result of 1-0 scored by T. Qianlong at 90’+1.

The young boys of Cambodia team showed a great performance in both first and second half, however they still can’t defend at last minute of the second half, by letting T. Qianlong found a goal at 90`+1. As a result, Cambodia was defeated by China 0-1.

The upsetting result disappointed the whole Cambodian squad and supporters despite their strong effort they have put in the match. However, Cambodian team retains the popularity by gaining the cheering and supports from the stands with thousands of football fans.

Move the second match of the tournament, Cambodia played against Myanmar on 26^th October, which supposed to be the strong team in group G. First half began, and Myanmar found 2 goals at 32` and 34`. No matter what, the young boys of Cambodia football team bring themselves to the high level of performance in the second half, and finally they found 3 goals at 58`, 89`, and 90`+4. As a result, Cambodia defeated Myanmar 3-2.

It is noticeable that Cambodia hosts the Qualifying round AFC U19 Championship 2018 (Group G). Next match, Cambodia will play against Philippines, and fans are eager to see the match with the hope of better result.
