Unity in Diversity: ASEAN+3 Festival Held in Phnom Penh Soon

Phnom Penh─ With the aims of spreading knowledge regarding ASEAN and its Dialogue Partners, as well as promoting unity and enhancing integration together in the region, Department of International Studies of Institute of Foreign Languages, Royal University of Phnom Penh is hosting the very first ASEAN Plus Three Festival on 11^th March, 2017.

From 8 in the morning till 5 in the evening, the ASEAN Plus Three Festival will guide Cambodian youths into understanding more about the diversity of cultures, identity, developments, political and economic sectors between ASEAN and its 3 Dialogue Partners, Japan, China and South Korea, through various forms of shows and activities.

ASEAN +3 Festival in 2017

There will be exhibition of country booths and food booths, which provide traditional cuisines of each respective countries. Moreover, many cultural performances, popular folk games and other fun entertainments will also be there to entertain the participants.

Throwback to 2015, the Department of International Studies had successfully organized the ASEAN Festival 2015 with thousands of participants joining. However, this year will be different, bigger and even greater than before.

The festival will indeed help to raise more awareness about ASEAN and its Dialogue Partners and at the same time, strengthening the relations between all of the countries as well.
