PHNOM PENH- Khmer New Year is around the corner and the most exiting event “Angkor Sankranta” is approaching as well.
Angkor Sankranta will be happening at Siem Reap province from 13th to 16th this month. The event is filled with many amazing activities and the city of Siem Reap province is shown with attractive decorations.
Angkor Sankranta is the most special celebratory event of Khmer New Year. Local and foreign tourists flock into the province to experience this cultural event. This year, the preparation of the event is well done. There will be many traditional games and amazing cultural performances that you have never seen before.

Importantly, the event aims to maintain Cambodian tradition and to show off Cambodia culture and custom to the world. The event is organized by Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) under the leadership of H.E. Hun Many.
As the event is approaching, Angkor Sankranta’s team has released a video of what you should prepare for the event. In the video, they featured many things, including umbrella, clothes, water bottle, selfie stick, transportation service, accommodation, and more. These are important things that you need to consider and get it prepared before your trip to there.
