{Video} A Cambodian Contestant Amazed Judges With Her Incredible Voice

Phnom Penh- At the age of 16, Thai Vannita, a contestant of the Cambodian Idol Season 3 has shocked everyone including judges with her beautiful voice through the song from the 1960s.

Currently studying grade 11 at Preah Soramrith, Kompong Chhnang Province, she is well-known by her sweet and deep voice filled with romance and emotion.  “Being a singer is my dream since I was young. I want to be a star who everyone recognizes me with my talents.” she expressed her dream with her shiny smile.

Despite the exhausting moment from waiting the queue to get into the audition room, she patiently waited and was very enthusiastic to show her talents infront of the judges. She took the song “Pno Neang Kongrey”, which is one of the phenomenon songs from the 1960s. Despite the challenging level of the song, she did her best to complete it and got many praises from the judges.

However, due to the reason of exhaust from waiting which decrease the length of her breathe, her performance was not as great as she expected. That was the reason she got only three “Yes” from the judges. On the other hand, she got many praises and feedbacks from the judges. “This is a very difficult song to sing and it is even harder if you choose this song to compete at this young age. But you did great with full of emotion and a very sweet voice”, coach Kanha said.

She was terrific after hearing the three “Yes” from the judges, knowing that she can go to the next round and she was determined to put a strong commitment to pass the next round. Can she go on and make it through the next round? Let’s wait and see together.
