{Video} U-19 Cambodia’s Next Round Place in Doubt, After Draw With Philippines

Phnom Penh- After a third match on 28^th October, at Olympic Stadium, U-19 Cambodia national football team and U-19 Philippines ended the match with a draw of 0-0 in the group qualification round of Group G, in AFC U19 Championship 2018.

In the last match of group qualification, the U-19 Cambodia Team has led the ball possession and managed to perform many shot-on-targets. However, the goal was failed to accomplish due to the strong defensive skills from the Philippines.

The U-19 Philippines also have several chances; however, they could not manage to score until the final whistle was blown, ending the match with the result of 0-0.

After the draw, Cambodia U19 team remained their position in Number 2 in Group G, after a win and a draw in the total of 3 matches. The chance of the team to the next round remains unpredictable since all the Number 2 teams in every group will be evaluated to find the best teams to go to the next round.

On the other hand, Republic of China U-19 team, the leader in Group G, has booked a position in the next round of AFC U-19 Championship 2018, at Indonesia, after the all-win performances with 9 points throughout the group qualification round matches with the record of 1-0, 6-0 win over Cambodia and Philippines respectively and finally, a 1-0 result which terminated the chance of Myanmar in the last match of the group qualification.

Cambodia stands in the second place in Group G
